January 28 - 29, 2013
The 2013 Georgia Cattlemen’s Association Emerging Leaders Conference is a program targeted at current and future industry leaders. Twelve applicants will be selected to participate in a two-day conference addressing the beef industry. ELC will begin at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 28 and conclude late afternoon on Jan. 29. GCA will help coordinate travel once attendees are selected.
The conference will feature a day in Macon highlighting the operations of GCA, Georgia Beef Board, GCA Foundation, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Georgia Junior Cattlemen’s Association. There will be media spokesperson training. Day two takes participants to Atlanta to tour a beef wholesale facility, visit the State Capitol and the Georgia Department of Agriculture headquarters across the street.
The conference is open to GCA members age 21 or older who have a desire to learn more about the beef industry and help move it and GCA forward.
