The Georgia Beef Board offers
many training opportunities for people in foodservice. These
trainings are offered at no or little cost to the

Food Safety Training
- Each September is National Food Safety Education Month
and the Georgia Beef Board is proud to support food safety
efforts. Trainings are encouraged during the month of
September but can be scheduled year round. This hour
presentation is a great way to get your employees thinking
about food safety.
The Complete Take on Beef - This session discusses
the different cuts of beef. It touches on cutting methods,
cooking methods and selling techniques. The training can
last anywhere from one to three hours depending on the
company's needs and it is tailored to helping educate
foodservice salespeople about beef.
Beef Fabrication - This day-long seminar is a
follow-up to the Complete Take on Beef. It involves a live
cutting demonstration and discussion about all facets of the
beef industry. Sessions are held at the University of
Georgia and must be scheduled well in advance to insure
availability of the resources needed.
